Welcome to the Troop 43 Web Site

Troop 43 Pembroke, Massachusetts currently has about 17 scouts.

If you are interested in joining our Troop we would encourage you to click on "Contact Us" and we'll follow-up on your inquiry.

The guiding ideals of Troop 43 are based on the BSA Scout Law, Scout Oath, Scout Motto and the Boy Led method.  All Scouts and Adult Leaders (Scouters) are guided by these ideals in all troop functions.  These are among the first things a new scout learns.

“Empowering boys to be leaders is the core of Scouting. Scouts learn by doing, and what they do is lead their patrols and their troop. The boys themselves develop a troop program, then take responsibility for figuring out how they will achieve the goals. One of our most important challenges is to train boy leaders to run the troop by providing direction, coaching and support. The boys will make mistakes now and then and will rely upon the adult leaders to guide them. Only through real hands-on experience as leaders can boys learn to lead.”   - BSA Scoutmasters Handbook.

March - August Bottle Bin Schedule

Posted on Mar 10 2020 - 4:50pm
Please see the below schedule and please have your son put his duty week on the calendar.  It is very important for every scout to contact the next scout on on the schedule to let him know that he has done his job.  If there is ever a concern or issue please reach out to me as soon as possible if you think I can help in some way.  If there is an issue with the week your son is scheduled to cover the bin - he must reach out to another scout to switch weeks (ahead of time).  Thank you for helping your son help the troop!!

Remember to finish the bin Sunday afternoon to leave it empty for the beginning of the next scout's shift.  Please ask for a receipt when cashing in and drop the $ at the Devine's at 64 Valley St. or give to Mr. Devine at the next meeting.
