Parental ParticipationAn organization is only as good as its members.   Troop 43 in Pembroke is very fortunate to havededicated leaders.   However, the same people cannot afford to continually give so much to the Troop. As a parent, your help is needed in many ways.   Here are few ways you can help strengthen the Troop....
Take the Online Training for Youth Protection or complete the Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat Training Visit the BSA On Line Training Center Visit the Scout Parents As a parent, you're a primary role model for your child Attend the Scout and Troop Committee Meetings to share your ideas.   Maybe you have an idea for a hike or a campout. Help with fundraising activities. Become a Merit Badge Counselor in a knowledgeable area of interest or hobby. Ask if there is a volunteer position you can fill or help out with. Spend some time at one of the campouts or at Camp Squanto during the week of Summer Camp. |
