Welcome to the Troop 43 Web Site
Pembroke, Massachusetts
www.pembroketroop43.org
THANK YOU!! to Marjie Cleveland and Kathy Anzalone for going to the Popcorn Kick-off Mtg.
Information will be rolling-out soon
All Leaders Must Be Youth Protection Trained (YPT)
Training is valid for two (2) years. Please update or take the training as necessary.
Please provide Don Conkey with a copy of your training certification. T43 has a great
record of YPT'd leaders. It is now "mandatory" per Council, for you to have this
certification when we re-charter in Dec or Old Colony Council will not allow you to be a registered leader.
Your attention to this would be greatly appreciated so that we don't have to send out multiple reminders. Thank you!
Training is available on-line at http://olc.scouting.org/info/ypt.html
Service Projects - Have you done one recently or since Jan 2009? If Yes, please give a
description to Alex or email it to his Dad, Mr. Bowler nbowler@pembroketroop43.org
Alex will post it on the "Good Turn For America" Web Site. Our Goal is to
log all our Scouts' service projects for 2009 and 2010. You can fill out one of the forms in
PDF (not editable) or Word
or send the necessary info in an email. Please talk with Alex if you have any questions. Good Luck!

Check the Bottle Bin Schedule.
Great work Everyone!! We recommend that you drop-off the bottles and cans at Muckey's on Rte 139, across from Lowes.
You will need to have cans and plastic bottles in bags and all glass bottles in boxes. Muckey's will count them in
front of you and give you a receipt which you bring upstairs to get the cash. Please provide Mrs. Lothrop,
Treasurer, with the Bottle Bin Redemption money. Please try to clean out the bin 3 times during your week to minimize theft. Thanks!
